I walked into the barn and saw Sunset nipping at her flanks, laying down, and groaning. I rushed to the tackroom and grabbed her red halter and leadrope. I opened the stall door and quickly put on her halter. I tugged at it and after a couple tugs she got up. I led her out to the stable yard and started walking her. "Come on Sun, come on sweetie," I clucked to her. I saw Dylan come out. "Dylan," I yelled. He looked at me and rushed over. "Walk her please, I am going to go call Dana," I handed over the leadrope and ran to the barn. I grabbed the phone and grabbed it. I punched in Dana's cell number. "Hello, Dana speaking," Dana said from the other line. "Dana, we have an emergency, Sunset is colicing. We just got her up 20 minutes ago. Dylan's walking her now." I said quickly. "Ok, calm down Lana, I'll be right over I have to finish up with a patient quickly who has colic. But I'll be over in 10 minutes. Just keep walking her." Dana said calmingly. "Ok," I replied and said bye. I set down the phone. I went out to Dylan. We stopped her for a minute to check her breath rate. I minute later I stopped counting. 34 times. Then regular is 25. "Ok, lets just keep walking her Dana will be here soon." I said. We kept walking her. 15 minutes later Dana came....
