I walked into the barn and grabbed Patience's weanling halter. I set it on a hook outside the stall door. I walked inside slowly. I let Patience sniff her hands hands and Patience nuzzled them and snorted into her hands. Then I ran my hand slowly all over her. She leaned into it. I could tell she was a very affectionate filly. Then I went to grab the halter with a carrot. I showed her the halter and told her I wouldn't hurt her. I slipped the pretty purple halter over her head and looseoly buckled it. I rubbed her all over."Good girl Patience!" I gave her the carrot. Then I led her out of the stall. I petted her an led her into the aisle. I walked her up and odwn the aisle letting her sniff noses with my other 3 horses. Then I led her out to the stable yard. I walked her around in some small circles and some serpentines. Then I led her over to her own paddock. I led her out into it and un-clipped the lead rope. She cantered around and then came back up to the gate. She nuzzled my lap almost nocking me off the fence. I gently pushed her away and she trotted off in the other direction. I climed down from the fence and grabbed her leadrope and walked up to the barn and hung it outside her stall. Then I went to the next stall and haltered the tall beautiful bay Thoroughbred. I led her into the cross-ties. Then I went to get a grooming kit. I brushed the filly thoroughly and then went to grab her exersize tack. Honor whinnied at me when she saw me coming with her tack. I put on the saddle pad and the exersize saddle. Then I put on her bridle. I un-hooked her from the cross-ties and led her to the track. I mounted up and walked her onto the track. I trotted her clockwise and then cantered her. She had great gaits. Then I turned her around and positioned her on the rail. I cantered to the half mile and then galloped her. I let her out all the way and pumped with my arms. "Go Honor!" I cried as the wind flew my hair back and her mane whipped my face. At the mile pole I stood in the stirrups and signaled her to slow down. I whooped and punched my fist in the air. walked her around to cool her out. Then I jumped down from the saddle. I led her back to the barn and untacked her. I gave her a bath and dried her off. I hugged the pretty filly and led her to her to her paddock. While I was out their I walked into Patience paddock and she ran up to me. I slipped on her halter and she came back to her stall willingly.I groomed her softly, not picking out her feet. I ran a clean cloth over her and she enjoyed it. Then I gave her a carrot. The filly ate it eagerly. Then I went and gave each of my other two horse in the barn a carrot. I groomed Sunset and then groomed Sparkle. Then i went to the tackroom and me and Camryn cleaned the tack and then went to Patience's stall and played with the pretty filly.
