I decided today would be a perfect day for a trail ride as i looked up at the sunny blue sky. i had a friend from my old city with me today, and having done horse-riding lessons for half of her life, i felt comfortable handing Crystal's reins over to her. Crystal was quite a charmer and i knew she would not muck up. However, i would not hav allowed her to ride Memento, he was much to excitable on the trails. We lead the horses outside and groomed them. i then saddled up and we mounted and walked towards the start of the trail. Although it was a workout, it was easy on the horses and quite relaxing for use. We gossiped as we made our way along the smakey trail, trotting and cantering every now and then. We even had to jump a small log we found lying in the middle of the path. After 2 hours on the trail we reached the stableyard and the horses, havign already been cooled were then released into their paddocks for the afternoon. My friend and I then headed into the tack room to polish it while we caught up on the goss.
