I entered the barn and gave Memento a good grooming, getting rid of all his loose hair. i then saddled him and lead him into the ring. i decided i wanted to work a little on his dressage. i warmed him up and got his friskyness out of him by walking and jogging him around the outside. once he was warmed up i worked on his transitions and on his flying changes which will be neccessary on the cross courty course. his cantering was quite smooth and fluent. i worked on his figures and perfromed several serpentines and circles with him... i then performed a small dressage test with him and he perfromed beautifully. i then walked him until he cooled, unsaddled him and let him out into the paddock for the arvo.

I then went and fetched crystal from the barn. i lead her outside intot the stable yeard and cross tied her , then groomed and saddled her. i mounted and led her towards the dressage ring. i trotted her around and then started to work her. i got her side stepping and taking some steps backward. er flying changesd and her transitions have improved greatly and are now very smooth. i got her extending and collecting her trot and mangaed to get her to perform some figures while doing this. i then unsaddled her and put her out into the paddock.
