I walked out to the paddocks where Man O' Heart was camly eating grass. When i came to the gate he came ambling over camly as ever. I laughed and planted a kiss on his nose. Then he started to nuzzle my pockets. I pulled out the carrot that was in my pocket and fed it to him. Then i haltered him and walked him back to the barn. He walked beside me and he kept nudging my pockets. He seemed to be looking for more treats. I lead him up to the barn and hooked him into the grooming area. I groomed him and tacked up the calm colt. Then i led him out to the outdoor riding arena and before i mounted i set up some 1ft jumps and crossrails. Then i mounted up and urged him into a walk. He walked around at a nice calm pace and we went around 3 times. Then i asked him for a trot. This time instead of posting i sat to his smooth trot. After a few laps of the ring i squezzed him into a canter and then went for 3 laps then i got an idea. I got into a galloping postion and urged him forward. He picked up the faster gait and galloped slowly around the ring. Then i gradually pulled him up. When we came to a stop he shook his head as if to say that was fun lets do it again. Then i laughed and walked him around for a lap then i urged him into a trot and trotted him and headed him towards the little course i had set up. I troted him over the crossrails and then over the 1ft jump. He arched his back and gave a little buck coming off the last jump. Then I saw a bounce with 2 1'6ft jumps and headed him towards them. He went over them easily and then i pulled him up and dismounted. I led him up to the barn and took his bridle off then i hooked him into crossties and pulled his saddle off his steaming back. And then i led him to the wash rack and gave him slewed the water over his back. Then i towel dried him and put a cooler on him and hooked him to the hot walker. Then after 15 minutes i gave him some water and made sure that he was completly cooled out. Then i led him to his paddock and gave him and apple and let him go. He walked to the middle to the paddock and then he dropped his head to graze. Then i walked back to the barn and cleaned his tack. Then i went to clean out the stalls while the horses were in the paddock. After i had finished that i headed up to the house and had some lunch.
