I mounted Courage after I had groomed and tacked him up. He was full of energy today.I walked Courage around and then urged him into a quick trot. Then a canter. Courage cantered willingly around. Then I took him over some 3 foot jumps. He soared over the first one and accidently mis-judged the 2nd jump and ended up nocking a rail down. The 3rd on he ducked out to the left on. I turned him in a tight circle and aimed him back at it. This time he jumped over it with feet to spare. The 4th jump he soared over. The fifth he just refused. I turned him in another tight circle and aimed him back at it. This time he stumbled through it. I jumped off checked his legs and he was fine. I hopped back on and aimed him at it again. This time he gave up and soared over it. I took him over the course again and he did fine. I cooled him out and put him away. I was going to work on ground manners with Jersey. I put her halter and leadrope on. We walked around the stable yard and we wroked on not tugging. When she tugged I told her "No" and tugged back on it. We did that for a half an hour. Then I put her and Courage out.
I went up to the barn and started mucking out stalls. I filled the water buckets and put feed in each of them. Then I groomed Sparkle to get her ready for people to look at, she was up for sale.
