~Silver Diamonds~
*She mounts the beautiful gray stallion and warms him up carefully, at the walk, trot and canter. then she works on his collections and extensions over ground poles and his lateral work. the big horse was completely capable of doing high level moves, but Saddle always worked on the basics too. Piaffes and pirouettes werent the only things involved in dressage and if she wanted Silver to be the best he could be then he needed to do just as much simple work as he did harder work. Once she is done, she gets off, untacks him and gives him a carrot, then turns him out. Next she brings Trent up...

~Nine Inch Nails~
she tacks up the pretty horse, then mounts him. Today he was going to learn turns on the forehand. She warms him up and reviews his basics at the walk, trot and canter. then she halts him and gently presses his side with her left leg, holding her right rein firmly to keep him from moving forward. the first few times she asks, he throws his head and steps forward, then he finally shifts his weight and steps away from her leg. she praises him and pats his neck. then she repeats the excersise several times in each direction before she does a little more canter work and cools him out. then she untacks him, gives him a treat and turns him out, then rides Shining...

~Shining~
She grooms, tacks up and mounts the pretty red roan mare and warms her up. then she takes her over a course of 14 jumps of varying heights between 5' and 5'6. the mare clears them all with hardly any effort. although she was only 15.3 and quite small to jump so high, she took the fences with ease and grace. Her landings were light and her takeoffs perfectly on time. Saddle pats her soft neck, then drops her reins and allows the mare to walk herself out. Even though she was purebred thoroughbred and had just jumped a challenging course and was still full of herself, she walks quietly around the ring. Once her breathing is normal, Saddle dismounts and leads her to the barn. she untacks her and gives her a treat, then turns her out and goes to watch her kids ride.*
