"I'll do it this morning," I thought to myself. I had to break my little mare to her tack.
Breaking her was the easy part. She wasn't scared of any of the tack, she had seen it before. After she looked ready, I decided to try and ride her.
Chrystaline is a funny little thing. After I had her familiar to the feel of the saddle, the bit, everything, I knew it was time to try and ride her. She looked all set, and didn't seem nervous. I guess she had plans of her own!
I put the saddle on and went to mount her, and since she usually held still for grooming and bathing, I didn't have her in crossties. She sidestepped a few times, causing me to, well, THUD to the ground. I was frustrated, but I also knew she had a mind of her own.
"I'll try again later," I said to the little white mare as I leaded her out to pasture...
