* "Mikki, Hannah, Jessie, Maggie! come on, we need to get going or you aren't going to have time to ride your own horses today" Saddle calls. Michelle sits waiting in the truck as the rest of her siblings pound down the stairs and run out the door. "I already fed all of our horses and they're all turned out. you will clean their stalls when we get back" Saddle tells them. "But mom..." Jessie protests. "But Jessie..." Saddle whines right back at her. Jessie frowns and stops complaining. They arrive at Forever Creek Stables a few minutes later and they all get out. by then all the horses are eager to eat. some pace around their stalls, some nicker and some strike out at the wall. Saddle and the kids hurry to give all the horses their morning meal, then they clean their stalls and groom the horses. "Katie asked me to work her horses for her, so heres how we're going to do this. Jessie, Hannah, and Maggie will ride Halo, Cinnamon, and Fireglow. Michelle will ride Pebbles, Mikki will ride Livin' Wild, and Renegade and i will take care of the rest of the horses. when you are finished with your assigned horses all the paddocks need to be picked out and the water tubs need to be filled." Saddle tells them. they all nod and go to tack up their horses. Saddle grooms the racehorses and lounges them first, then turns them out, then she rides Dalmation and Oreo play. the two western horses behave very well considering their rider is not a western rider. Then she puts Raven on the lounge line and works on improving her form. once Raven is cool and turned out, she rides Total Eclispe. the powerful colt has beautiful gaits for a horse so young. she grooms Silky Halo, then goes to her final horse for the day, the horse she looked foward to riding the most, Baby. the mare was Silver's first foal and Saddle loved training her. Baby nickers to Saddle as she walks down the isle, then stands patiently to be groomed and tacked up. Saddle leads her to the riding ring and mounts, then schools Baby lightly. she gets off amazed at how far the mare has come. "i wonder when Katie is going to start jumping you" she says absently to the mare as she cools her off. "Mom, everything's done" Jessie calls, walking up from the back paddocks. "Great, i just need to hose Baby and turn her out" Saddle calls back. Jessie helps her hose Baby, then they walk down and turn her out. they drive back home and Saddle rides Silver on the trails with Jessie, Maggie, Kylee, Hannah, Mikki and Michelle. Then they all cool their horses off and Mikki takes Colonel out for a short drive on the trails and Saddle schools Shining on the flat, doing lead changes, collections and extensions, preparing for the show. then she rides Trent with Hannah and Dusty before they feed all the horses and go back to bring Katie's horses in and feed them. Finally they all go home, exhausted, eat dinner and go to bed*
