When I got home, Julia was there awaiting the new animals. I opened the door and brought Wrinkle over.
"Awwwww! What a cute puppy!" she said and squatted down to pet him.
"Yep, and can you believe that his owner doesn't know they own him?" I asked, hiding a smile.
"Really? Well, if they don't then can I have him? Whats his name?" Julia kept firing questions.
"Yes, really. Hes yours, so I'll just tell you that you can have him. His names Wrinkle." I replied to all the questions smiling.
"Hes MINE?! YES! OH THANKS MOM! I'LL GO TELL DADDY!" she happily yelled, swooping up Wrinkle and running to the house.
About a minuet later, Tavin came strolling over to help me unload the horses.
"Hey! Did you see the amazing Wrinkle?" I asked laughing.
"Yep, sure did." he replied and opened the back of the trailer "Wow, these are nice horses."
"They're yearlings." I said and brought Colby around "Did I tell you I got two other dogs?"
"No" he said stepping out.
"Weeelllll, I couldn't pass up Colby and Noel, so heres Colby." I smiled handing him the leash.
"Wow! Thanks darlin'" he patted the dog and put him near the trailer.
He led Tradition out and laid the lead down (NOT safe, I know, put he doesn't) Colby took it in his teeth and started leading Tradition to the barn. Tradition followed, but I think because she was stunned. Helen strode out and looked at the site. Tavin was just unloading Exotic and saw Colby leading Tradition.
"Oh dear-COLBY!!" he whistled. Colby turned his head and looked like "Well, you do it, right? So come on!"
"Oh, no its okay, as long as no one gets hurt." Helen laughed. Tavin sheepishly went behind Colby.
"So, do you need to see Breeze or King?" she asked.
"Umm, I think I'll see them both." I replied.
She led the way to the barn and I looked in at Breeze, who if I may say had been breeded to recently and was looking rather large. She whinnied at me. Then we went to see King in the geldings barn. He was AOK, too.
"Well, they look good, I'll just go and get Julia rounded up." I happily smiled.
"Oh, yeah, some of Jennys girls came by and wanted to go riding, and I was supposed to tell you. She took Bunny, I wouldn't let her take Tofta, she took Wrinkle with her."
"Okay, could you bring her and Wrink home?" I asked.
"Sure can. See you later." she jogged off to train a yearling that had come in a little earlier.
"Well, lets go home." Tavin patted my shoulder. then we went home.
