He could think of no better option for his daughter. He nods, almost gravely, in agreement to the queen's words, his sandy-brown locks gently bobbing with the movement of his head. Not being accustomed to disciplining either of his children, it seemed all wrong to be doing so to his youngest. But something had to be done about Sadie's masquerades...He sighs, hearing his daughter beginning to speak with an obvious, fatherly contempt. That is, until the mention of an 'inn' is involved.

"The inn...? Sheilah's inn?" he asks, constricting his eyebrows in the way he did in such cases. "Sadie, you went to the inn, where liquor is served and men aren't themselves, what in your mind gave you the idea it would be safe? If not safe, what possible reason did you have that made you think you could go behind our backs and run off again, after we strictly told you not!"

He stares at her hard, concern and temper flooding his tone. "Make it four hours. For the remainder of the week. And maybe, next time leaving the castle seems like a good idea, you'll think again. This is for your safety, Sadie Rose, and if you are not yet mature enough to ensure it yourself, I will do it for you."
