Calm down. No one's calling you crazy. The reason is that the page uses a java script to read your IP from your computer, thus by-passing any proxy server you might be using. It will display the IP of the proxy server and then display your true IP on the left side of the screen. Since you were wanting to learn more about proxies, I thought you might be interested. I'm sorry if you felt like you were being called crazy, but you weren't.
