Thanks for the list. Most of them were working, a few were not. The reason I keep my proxy list short is because I manually verify each and every one on the list as working and being anonymous. The reason I go to such lengths is because about half of all proxies are "transparent". This means that the proxy actually forwards your IP address, so that it is possible that the server/website you are wanting to visit can still log your true IP address in addition to the proxy's IP address. This is what is known as "spills". You can test this at the following site:

Proxy Spill Check

Your proxy's IP address will always show up in the "REMOTE_ADDR" and "REMOTE_HOST" boxes. But if the proxy you are using is transparent (forwarding your true IP address), your true IP address will show up in the "HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR" box (about mid-way down the page). You can test this with these proxies:

lynx.pitek.fi:8080 (anonymous)
cookies.csus.edu:80 (transparent)

Thus, many proxies that you can get off most of the lists online will still pass along your IP address. I only select those proxies that do not forward your IP address for my list. But to go through a proxy list, verifying and picking out the proxies that are working and anonymous takes quite a bit of time. That's why I keep my list small. I simply don't have the time to verify more than a handful. So visitors to my site can have confidence that I have gone to great lengths to get the best proxies out there for my small list of ten.

I did get a chance to verify a couple of the ones on your list. I will be going back through my list soon, and will replace any dead proxies with a couple of good, fast, anonymous ones that I found on your list. Thanks for your contribution.

Also, check your email.
