(Here's what was posted awhile ago at the Healing Lair. She needs a mom now...)

The dragonet, barely out>of the egg, drags herself in and collapses in a
crumpled bleeding heap. She coughs up some blood and
manages to prop herself up on a rock. One wing is torn
and ther are various cuts all over her. She squeaks
once, emmiting more blood and finally lies down
shivering against the stone wall. Her silent black
eyes close and she drifts into a slumber disturbed by
aweful dreams. Can you help her in time?

Her breath becomes short and laboured, her eyes cloud.
Vaguely, she remembers what happen, what made her an
orphan and would probably be the death of her. She
shivers again, not from cold but fear of dying. She
closes her eyes and remembers....

They had been walking along
together, just she, her mother, and her father.
Silence had run out ahead, snapping at dragonflies and
beetles along the way. She turned around to see her
father confronted with a larger dragon, with giant
claws and wings. They fought, but her father was no
match for the giant. Bye then, Silence had curled with
her mother, watching. The giant said something to her
father, he shook his head. Silence's mother covered
the dragonet's eyes. All she heard was a shrill
piercing cry, that was silenced all to fast. Curious
Silence peek out from behind her mothers paw, and saw
her father lying limp on the ground. Why doesn't he
get up?
she thinks. A tear rolls down the mother's
cheek, and she walked submissivly to the giant. He was
angry when he saw the offspring of the dead dragon,
Silence, and wanted no other lines but his own to
travel through other dragonesses. He firmly put
Silence on the ground, and, to the mothers,
unsurpressed shrieks, the giant killed Silence. Or so
he thought. Left for dead, Silence crawled to the
cave, leaving a trail of blood behind her.

By the end of her thoughtstory,
reddish tears slide freely down her cheeks. SHe
doesn't move though, it hurts to much. color>

Her breath comes in short gasps, her sides flutter.
She feels faint from loss of blood and exaustion. Her
cough is a sputter, from blood and fluid of infection.
Darkness clouds her thoughts, and her vision. She
accepts the fact she is to far gone, maye even for a
healer...

Will you adopt her?

She is fully healed now, but a dragoness has abandoned her. She peeps hopefully at you, her large, innocent balck eyes look at you, her lower lip quivers. --Will you be my mommy?-- She says in mind speech.
