Hi Kellie and morning show. I am a disabled Viet Nam veteran and one of the oldest rock and roll, christian listeners in the Tyler area. My wife, Barbara, and I have been married for 25 years. We both have listened to the Kidd Kraddock show since about 1995. I used to listen to Kidd when he was with the Eagle.

My wife Barbara is a very beautiful woman and we have 3 beautiful children. A daughter Courtney and son Todd in college, and our youngest son is a senior in high school. Barbara has experienced nerve damage in the left side of her face located to the rear base of the skull. She was supposed to have surgery this year, but it seems the world has dropped on her. In March, she lost her dad unexpectedly. They were very close, and she is having a tough time getting over it. On June 11 this year, our oldest son was home from college and spent the entire summer in the hospital from a gunshot wound to the chest. It did so much damage that we almost lost him, but God was with him and pulled him through. He plays football in Kansas, but he lost so much weight that he had to be redshirted. He wasn't even expected to return to college until after the first of the year, but he was determined to go back and he did. He lost 60lbs. while in the hospital and already he is back up to 200lbs. Before the shooting he weighed 220lbs. Now the doctors said his blood pressure is high and the damage he endured to his heart could be causing several complications. We know God is with him, and he will help us all to get through it. About 6 weeks ago, our youngest son totaled his pickup but he escaped without injuries. My wife commutes back and forth to Dallas every day to work, 200 miles round trip. All of this has been a terrible strain on her. Sometimes at night, I will go upstairs and she will be in tears because of all the tragedies and the long hours. The thing that hurts the most, is she loves the kids and me so much and she never asks for anything in return except to know that we are happy. She doesn't think she is loved by us, but Kellie that is so far from the truth. Myself and our kids love her more than anything in the world, and we always will. Her favorite artist of all times is Rod Stewart. I wish as a favor to me and my kids, that you can convince Kidd to play "Have I told you lately how much I love you."

Thank you so very much for your time and consideration.

Ray, Courtney, Todd, Kyle Jackson.
