Author: BUFFY [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 08:41:50 11/04/04 Thu SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP...teenagers are too old to trick or treat....they are at the age where they should have some friends over and watch scary movies or something like that...not going door to door like some little five year old dressed up like Winnie the Friggin Pooh. It is so not about pushing children to grow up too fast...it's about mother's wanting to keep their fourteen year olds four years old forever...I know what this is like my mother treated and still treats my youngest 19 year old brother the same way...the results are this...he still lives at home...not going to school and up until about three months ago...got his first job..is this what you want by allowing your child of fourteen to trick or treat when he or she should really be interested in having little get togethers at a parents house and hanging out with friends their OWN AGE....not door knocking with a group of three year olds and their mommies asking for twix bars and such!!!!
