Subject: Dreams and cold....

Well it's winter and snowy and very cold here, currently -8F(-22C). This mountain basin I live in acts like a big cold sink and the cold air settles in for weeks, along with some pretty gross haze when we aren't receiving regular snow storms to stir up the atmosphere....so unless I'm out skiing or walking for exercise, lots of time indoors. With the very short daylength, I end up doing quite a bit of zzzz...time. I've always loved to sleep because I have such a fantastic dream state, it can be better than my waking state in many ways...I especially love the flying dreams and I have moments of lucid dreaming where I'm aware I'm dreaming in the dream and at times I'm getting to where I can stop or direct my dreams which is kind of intriguing.

Eddie has been so entrenched in my psyche the last four plus years since I encountered him, that I dream about Eddie too. The dreams are always very animated and very interesting and we're usually exploring a bunch of different ideas or topics. I had an Eddie dream last night. We seemed to be engrossed in the craftmanship of this beautiful home we were in, marvelling at the beautiful woodwork and exploring every nook and cranny. We were also on the topic of metric versus english units which actually prompted me to get out of bed this morning and look a few things up that I was fuzzy on....I guess this is what I love about Eddie, he sparks my mind about so many ideas that are great to explore...it's always mental play for me. Anyway, back to my dreams...I always wake up from these Eddie dreams with this calm relaxed zen state that I can't quite explain but always love....so yeah dreams are real fine. I consider it a great luxury and respite.

So enough inane meandering and thanks for the space to post a bit of my own insanity. May the New Year grace us with happiness and peace...

Mucho love,
Behind the Zion Curtain

[> [> Gummy please!! You are by no means pathetic! Last thursday, here in this wacky little southern state I like to call South Cackilacky~the "Snow Tracker" was tracking some powder that was supposed to hit Friday. Schools were delayed, daycares closed, & there was no milk, eggs, or bread left in Wally World....& here almost a week later~we're still waiting for the powder...THAT'S PATHETIC! -- Ellie...longing to be back in PA~where it does actually snow, 06:23:48 01/15/04 Thu

[> BZC~~thank you, I'm not alone dream-wise. Saw an item about dreams, we can move them around a bit. People I don't know have faces, bodies, clothing, hairdos, but it's created in my sleep. Can get scary~~hate height with nothing around me, my dreams sometimes take me there, I get out of it somehow. Strangest are when I'm watching telly~~saw a thing on A&E about Las Vegas, zonked out, dreamt about me and my bro Bob on vaca in Vegas, driving around, went to a party somewhere. Hated it, re-directed myself to a casino, the slots. very weird. -- peggy~missing izzardites in the same place at the same time, 22:13:46 01/18/04 Sun
