You can use some of the following informmation in the episode. It is background on the Silde/Fromanian although most of the background we have altered for our own evil purposes!

The Fromainian & the Silde

Raising Demonic Spirits for Dummies

Ancient Celts used to partake in ritual killings of the elders who reached a certain age - this ritual allowed the spirit to leave the body and enter existence on a higher plane, it was found that the spirits being raised were not the same some, raised from good people (Priests, Monks noblemen) were good and had even been known to defend the Celts, while others raised from not so nice people (Killers, rapists ect) were found to be wicked and cruel - the Celts named the two different kind of spirits the Silde (good) and the fromainian (evil)

As the Fromainian became more dangerous, the Silde tried to convince the Celts to stop performing the raising ritual - but they refused, the temptation of ascending to a higher plane was to strong to ignore

The Fromainian were driven to an uninhabited island by the silde and were contained there for many years, until a foreign merchant was washed up on the island when his sailboat was torn apart on the rocks - he encountered a Fromainian, and attempted to defend himself with his limited powers in Drak magic, the Fromainian who had spent years mastering its powers possessed the merchant once the fromainian learned that this was possible they quickly headed back to the Celtic lands to take over, however once there they discovered that to successfully remain in a �host� it needed to have a strong powercenter (in the Fromainian�s case, the host needed to have evil in it) , the Fromainian invasion was successful for a time until the Silde, who merged with Celtic Masters of Drak magic, were able to drive �the void� the Silde also journeyed into the Void, instructing the Celts that they had to stop the raisings, as for every one human with the potential to become a Silde, there were one hundred with the potential to become Fromainian

Hundreds of years later, a junior researcher working for W & H finds a series of tomes in the W & H archives depicting the battles of the Silde & the Fromainian, Bringing this to the attention of his Superior Gavin Park, who under the instruction of a mysterious senior partner makes preparation to raise some fromainian spirits

The Angel Investigations team uncover the story of the Silde & Fromainian while investigating a series of similar murders occur first a criminal, then a religious figure within the next 24 hours)

After discovering a way to reopen the void and send all the Fromainian�s there Cordy is possessed by a Fromainian, to try to save her Angel allows himself to be possessed by a Silde - but there is a grave side effect - the strongest powercenter in Cordy is her demon half which was granted by supernatural means (meaning it isn�t permanent) and in angel his soul (which was also granted by supernatural means, and isn�t permanent) the spirits drain there hosts, Wesley, Fred & Connor are successful in opening the void and getting rid of the spirits but it leaves Cordy human, and awaiting the next vision that will kill her, and Angel, his soul removed - as Angelus

I think the only was to save Cordy should be to take her back to the oracles; they refuse to take Cordy back,

Oracle: When we offered you ascension to a higher being you chose to descend in favour of love - the decision you made then, you must pay for now

But they allow Cordy to remain in the Oracle chamber (as seen in Angel Series One) where she will be isolated from the visions

Angel can either be re-cursed, or we can come up with another method - a cave dwelling demon in Africa perhaps ;)

The Mysterious Senior Partner; I had this idea while I was writing this up - The merchant who was possessed by the Fromainian - survived for hundreds of years before the Fromainian weakened and lost cohesion inside the host - the breakdown caused the creation of a new powerful demon (this demon had no knowledge of his existence before as a merchant and later as a host to a fromainian) the demon becomes a Senior partner in W & H - 100 years go by until the Fromainian begins to regain cohesion (resulting in visions & Flashes within the demon) - This is what causes him to instruct Gavin to raise the Fromainian�s, knowing that another Fromainian will be able to heal him) [This is only an idea of mine - if you like we can use if not we think of something else]

Drak Magic
It looks like a typo for Dark magic but is actually a Celtic magical belief, I think it might be interesting because its a magic nobody at AI will have an understanding of - if we don�t use it for anything else, we should at lease use it with the raisings or the opening of the void

Possessed / Merged
I know its pretty obvious but I want to try and include [But not a pivotal story point so we don�t have to] a clear separation between the Silde & the Fromainian - Fromainian possess, Silde Merge
[If you watch SG-1 just think of Gou�ald - Take hosts / Tok�ra - Blend]

Powercenter
The source of power a spirit uses while in a host - if the spirit is good it feeds of the good energy within a person, if evil the evil energy - as no human is totally good or totally evil [with the exception of the soulless boy from Angel Series One] a human host is capable of sustaining a spirit indefinitely - but in the cases of Angel & Cordy where there stronger powercenters are non permanent [I.E - they are not a part of the person from birth and necessary for said person to exist] they can only sustain a spirit for a limited time - once that time has run out - these powercenters are depleated

Masters Of Drak Magic
Again not pivotal, it can be mentioned if we delve into the history that deeply or not - it�s primarily just the method to get rid of the Fromainian�s in the beginning

The Void
Demon Dimensions - Rupert Giles
�Hundreds actually, all pushing on the borders of our dimension trying to get in�
The Void is what I imagine being the space between the dimensions, devoid of time, devoid of form, devoid of anything
