Subject: Fishing Trip

Thought I would provide everybody an update of the Canada Fishing trip that the T-men, Buddha's Bandits, and the Osprey just returned from.

It was a very interesting trip with the fishing hot and heavy. The lines were long at the border getting into Canada with U.S. Customs all over the place. They were primarily looking for people smuggling bodies (Arabs) out of the country. This scared us some, since we figured if it is taking us this long to get out, getting in got to be three times as hard. But it only took us about a 1/2 hour to get in. Not bad.

The tragedy in New York and Washington had the stars in alignment and the fish all confused, because Buddha's Bandits jumped out to an early lead in the fishing contest, with T-men close behind. The Osprey took a couple of days to get out of the gate.

If you can believe it, Bhuddha continued to pour it on mid-week holding the lead, T-men began to Fade, while the Osprey began to kick it in gear. By Wednesday nite is was pretty much a dead heat with Buddha starting to feel the pressure. By thursday, the world started to get back in order with the Osprey continuing to kick it in and blowing by the T-men and Buddha. Ahhhhhh. While exciting, the trip ended with the same result. The Osprey king of the fishing trip, with Buddha and T-men in their familiar spots looking at my backside.

Turns out this was probably our best trip with respect to quantities of fish. It was great to see Buddha actually catch a fish this year which made for interesting conversation the early part of the week with both T-men and Buddha abusing the slow start of the Osprey.

Looking forward already to next year. This time I won't take these two amateurs lightly.

The Osprey "King fisher"
