I’m so tired & stressed

Sleepy as fuck, but I can’t even think about rest
Plus I got rent & bills 2 pay
& I need a place where my daughter can play
So when people look at me in disgust I laugh in they face
They ain’t givin me any food 4 me & my daughter 2 taste
Water & base got me makin those plates
My past is filled wit so much aggression & hate
So I’d be damned if my daughter were 2 pick up those traits
So 4 her sake I gotta do whatever it takes
2 make a future suitable 4 her tastes
Even if that involves me baking millions of cakes
As long as she has a future wit a well rounded base, I’m straight
I got enough keys 2 open these doorz & get out this game
I keep havin dreams wit my soul surrounded by flames
Wit little voices screamin my name & I kno that it’s satin
Can God forgive me 4 the lives that I’m waistin
Chance after chance but I fail 2 embrace em
I don’t pray because I’m afraid 2 face em
Even tho I kno in my heart that prayin will keep me complacent
My life is so bitter I could taste it

Kids heard my life & now they wanna b down
I sigh & I frown
They think its only quick money
2 me it fed my daughter when she was hungry
It bought her a bed 2 make her feel comfy
I really hope she grows up 2 love me
All the sacrifice & pain I exchanged my soul just 4 her sake
I took all the humiliation I could take
I’d be damned if she ever where 2 disrespect me in my face
The nights I didn’t sleep cause I had 2 cook up the base
On da block scared & afraid 2 be caught & locked in a cage
I kno it’s the life that I’ve made
But like I said b4 I gotta daughter 2 raise
That’s the only way imma make it 2day
If u don’t like it then give me a few G’z & I’ll be on my way
O yea, u can’t..so get the fuck out my face

Think that this is only quick buckz
But don’t realize the time & deadlines u gotta meet when u have bricks 2 cut
U could be sick as fuck
But u kno u gotta little girl 2 bring up
Threw all the pain & hurt u gotta live wit those lessons
& Disregard all the people puttin’ down ure profession
Wats funny is that they ain’t helpin’ u collect’
