Hi Brother Robert,

Brother Oakman died in 1975 about a decade before the independent branch movement. He is however probably the most quoted 20th century minister I hear amoung my restorationist friends. His command of language and rich spiritual experience combined to allow a rich and authorative teaching, writing and preaching ministry.

I too would be interested in hearing from others about his ministry in his post-appointment days. I had the opportunity to hear him bear testimonies for lengthy periods in the 1970s and was mesmerized as I heard the testimony of an apostle in the face of Nazism, with angelic ministry, and reminices of the previous generation who mentored him.
