I have a book - BIOGRAPHICAL DICTIONARY OF THE LATTER DAY SAINTS MINISTRY FROM THE RISE OF THE CHURCH TO 1949 by Alvin Knisley. He is some information about Levi Gamet from it.

born 6/3/1848 in Pottawattamie Co at Council Bluffs, Iowa
to David N. and Hannah P gemet
at the time of the books publication (1948) he was almost 100 years old
Baptized 12/1/1860 at Little Siousx, IA by SW Condit
ordained a priest in 1865 by DH Bays
Ordained an elder 6/6/1880 by JC Crabb
Ordained a high priest 4/15/1920 by UW Greene & JF Curtis
the father of 3 boys and 4 girls
did missionary work in Alabana, S Dakota, and Nebraska.

No mention in this bit about being ordained a seventy (an elder whose ministry is focused on missionary work) though it sounds like he did that type of ministry.

Would love to hear more about him, if you'd care to share.
