Fears must be calmed, but they rarely are.

People would rather believe the fearful things than believe the hopeful ones.

There are enough out there saying the world will be destroyed and all are evil, and were born in sin. It is time that someone says the Book is the Earth, and IT is the one doomed to destruction.

No matter how much you might not believe me at the moment, but I tell you that you will some day be calm, and love will be exposed to you in a small and gentle way. Right now, you wish war because you harbor hatred, because you fear.

But, I tell you that that will change. Don't think that you haven't been witnessing something monumental in its smallness. Enormous in its weakness. Powerful in its incapacity. Visible in its invisibility.

I see a hidden thing, that in just what you might call a short time, your own world is about to change very rapidly. I see a time when your hatred is going to start to seep away. I say that because I can already see it happening. I see it occurring right now.

And, what I see? I see an extremely kind person inside you, way beyond all that fear, and hardness, and hatred. WAy beyond your hurt heart. I've seen this before, many times, and I've seen the change that is delicate occur before.

I tell you that it will creep up on you, unaware. Part of you will fight it at first, believing that you are the evil thing someone once said you were. But I see the pure thing hiding there like a child, and I say the child will once again find the entrance through the caves of fear and I see that you will one day exit from that cave.

You'll know when it is occurring when tears flow like they've never flowed before. That is when you will become aware of it happening. But, for now, the hardness will stand even firmer because I've dared say this truth. But know that the stone will crack in the end.

Know that the gatekeeper of your heart, which keeps words like this from entering is not strong enough for what I say to not leak through for part of your heart will know that I am not telling you a lie, here.

As for what you said, it doesn't matter what everybody does, it matters that individuals find what life is really all about. The large will never change if the small doesn't. The fearful large scale of things will run its own course and we can only change it by changing ourselves, one-by-one. We may not be able to stop all the fear in the world, but we can control what occurs to US.
