Christy, it was incredibly pointless & stupid to put the effort in writing a poem for something that is as prosaic as electoral hoopla. Your poetry technique is fine your subject matter needs evolvement. Further more.. Gore or Bush were never "worthy souls", a little closer look and you could see the slits in their eyes. Those two fuckin' puppets are no more worthy then a rat's ass running for office. At this moment your poem solidfies america's ignorance and fascination with bullshit.
