Because he isn't finished with school yet, because
he isn't financially capable of supporting a child yet.

Because the only absolute way to prevent an unwanted
pregnancy is abstinence.

I know of quite a few pregnancies that happened while
using birth control. As a matter of fact I have a child that
was conceived while we were using birth control.

Come to think of it I'm one myself.
