Why? When even some of the strangest things that I've ever hoped for has always come true, in one form or another?

Why wouldn't I believe that my biggest hope might not also come true, given enough time?

If one hopes nothing, one gets nothing.

If one has hope, there is always still hope to rely upon. It is the rope when there seems to be no rope. But, I tell you there is a rope because I've grabbed it and I hold on to it, and it is a different rope than most speak of.

Hopelessness causes inaction, and despair, and depression, all of which get nowhere. Day-by-day is the only way any long trip is traveled. Step by painful step.

Having no hope is like a man who sits in the desert complaining that he has no water to drink, and therefore he dies. It is always better to wander in the desert even if the only hope one has is that the next mirage might be a waterhole.

Without hope, a person realizes nothing. To get hope back is the trick.
