I would like to add some of the parts of history of where we are now which his revisionist recollection neglected to adress...The economy was not in bad shape in 1992...by proper economic definition we where not experincing a recession...the six month lag was called an economic shock...and this growing economy has really been growing by economic definition since 1983...which was 9 years of economic growth under Reagan and Bush, and stil short of 8 under clinton...are massive deficit we ran up in the 80's...should we forbet where we where when Reagan took office, in the greatest economic down turn under the hands of Jimmy Carter since the great depression, a down turn which begun under democratic president Lyndon Jouhnson and has become known as the great stagfaltion...we where losing a cold war to Russia, and we had a demoratic Congress which refused to cut spending...yet, we came back to break the soviet union, cut intrest rates from 23% when carter was president to around 7.5%, killed the massive inflation, and started the largest period of economic growth in modern history...what else do I have to say? Oh, we cut unemployment rates fromlike 10.5% to 5.1%...enough said...
