Used book would be better, I don't know if it is relly worth being bought new...I just got it from the library when I was a young rougr and never returned it...

...as for the ring, yes I noted that...he and same where also the only ones who handled it with the flesh and did not threat to give it up...I think that had something to do with the simplicty of the characters, the simplicity of samwises mind, being he was rather mentally slow and his only desire was to please master frodo, and the simplicity of Tom's soul, being he was an extention of nature and also had little desire or ambition...
