Well, I dress unconventionally and reject the mores of established society, but I'm not sure if I advocate a nonviolent ethic.

Hippies... those '60's era counter-culture 'revolutionaries'. They advocate peace, love, and harmony. This results in the communal living thing.

They're still around, of course. Not necessarily in communes...

Pop culture steals fashion from them every once in a while. Pop culture is a collection of stolen cultural artifacts.

Maybe I could lead the next wave of pop culture by revolting against the current pop culture. Mwahahahaha!!!
