So, you think that the size of those who hear something is what matters?

The greatest things ever done were always done first from smallest of beginnings. They once said to Jesus, "If you want to be well known, why don't you reveal yourself openly." (For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world.)

Yet, even after this, it wasn't in the slightest way his getting widely heard that made him widely known.

The explanation they always give for Chaos theory is the example where a butterfly's wingflap in one part of the world grows through the mechanism of chaos to create a tornado in another part of the world. This is how the world operates. Don't think that small messages, if done properly, spoken to eight people are not incredibly powerful.

But, besides all that, there was a story I heard a few days ago. "I woke very early in the morning, and went out to the beach to see what I could find along the beach. Way up ahead of me I could see someone in the morning dusk that looked like they were doing some sort of a dance. I went up to them, hoping to express my delight that they were enjoying life so much that they would raise early in the morning to dance on the beach, so.

When I got closer, I saw that the person wasn't dancing at all, but was picking things off the beach with a hop, and then would fling something back into the ocean where it would land in the water with a plunk.

"What are you doing?" I asked the man.

He replied, "Well, I've walked these beaches all my life, and one day I realized that starfish come up from the ocean every night. And, they climb too high up on shore so that when the sun comes out, they normally all dry up and die.

So, I'm throwing them back."

I said back to the man, "It's foolish what you do. What does it matter, for you could never throw all the starfish back in the ocean?"

He picked up another starfish, pointing it to me. "It matters to this starfish!" he says, throwing it back to the sea.
