Personality: Her father died when she was thirteen, and she's always had to help her mother with her four younger sisters. She fended for the family, providing food, and has worked to keep her family together. She has been the provider for the family, working since her father's death to have enough money while her mother watched the children. Her father had taught her swordcraft before he was killed; after his death she taught her younger sister Amel, a year younger than Ariah. She is a loyal, outspoken young woman who defends those she loves fiercely. She harbors the secret fear that someone near to her will be lost to her, as her father was. She is a renowned swordswoman, but is constantly irritated with her inability to improve. She is very forceful and lacks patience. She does have a knack for worming secrets out of others. She can have an overwhelming personality at first, but becomes a fast friend once you can break through her barriers.
