Author: Imaran
Subject: Imaran looked thoughtful... (ooc: More inside.)
In reply to: Crello (Yes, yes, I know, I'm sorry, I completly forgot, go ahead and storm my castle) 's message, "Crello stands, straitening his robes." on 20:29:10 02/14/04 Sat

For a moment and then replied, "I have never thought of you as a dim-wit, Sir. How was I to know of the precautions that you had or hadn't taken. And even with the precautions that were already in place, with him being watched until he left Carnerik, would he have come back? He would have left with a wounded pride, at the very least, not to mention with his words of: 'I'm sure whatever the Council will be decidin', Imaran," Imaran said, as he began to imitate the voice of the bandit, "I'm sure that I'll still be around to come back. Ye won' ever be rid o' me.' That is what he had told me, and I believe that had be been allowed to leave, he would come back. Maybe not the next day, or even the next week. But maybe years from then, when we had almost completely forgotten about him. He would strike, and he would strike hard. I wouldn't be prepared for it, as I had been last night. He would have killed Crystaline and I as sure as I'm talking. That was what our fear was. Our fear was that he would have come back so unexpectedly that he could have gotten us in one swift blow with his dagger." Imaran made a striking motion to prove his point.

  • Crystaline felt her chest grow tight. She hated being under a spotlight. She was glad that she wasn't Imaran standing before the council just now. She discreetly interlocked her fingers with Twilight. (NT) -- Crystaline, 16:48:16 02/22/04 Sun
