Subject: 586 Core

We have designed a custom base board in house for the 586 core. It seems like the core is not booting up and stays at reset mode (shown by PIO0 & PIO1). The following is the configuration.
1. Rstin is high.
2. VCC_RTC is left unconnected.
3. BOOTCS# and BOOTCS-IN# is connected together.
4. All VCC5 and VCC3 are connected to 5.0V and 3.3V respectively.
5. Only the Ethernet port and the COM1 are used. Other pins on P1/P2 connectors are all left unconnected.

Is there any other signals on P1/P2 connectors I need to worry about to get the 586 core to bootup? Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
-Srinath
