Subject: patching kernel for flash driver Author: Pete G [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 16:30:56 05/27/03 Tue I followed the directions to compile the flash dirver into the kernel, but that only resulted in a kernel panic on boot. So I tried compiling as a module, and I could boot and load it no problem. But when I went to try and mount nor I got: "modprobe: can't locate module block-major-253" any ideas?
