I have downloaded the linux image 2.4.18 #4 from compulab's web site onto 686 core. Can I get the source of the same kernel onto my PC?

Background:
I am writing a device driver. I compile it on 2.4.18 #1 SMP on my PC and try running it on 686CORE(with 2.4.18 #4). It crashes on 686CORE but it doesnt crash on my PC. Strangely, even the module size is different on both of the machines.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
