Compaq 5315 Presario, Desktop, 1.3 GHz, 80 GB, 512MB, XP Home: I left to go eat computer was running fine the only program that was running was my screen saver which is the SETI@HOME screen saver (FYI) anyways, I come home maybe an hour later and there is a black screen with some wierd characters at the top left hand part of my screen...the first looked lick a stick man...the second looked life an "f"...the third was a backwards "f" with a long tail...the fourth was a checkered block...then the cursor...the the reason Im describing these is because I think they may be some kind of programming characters... the computer will not go any farther than that....it automatically tries to restart when ctrl+alt+del and automatically turns off as soon as the power button is pushed in
