Hello,

I have a problem when I build kernel (linux 2.4.18) not using NAND flash as follows:

1. .Confug (Make menuconfig) includes the following definitions:

* NAND (no)
* NOR (yes)
* Ramdisk (yes)
* Ramdisk init (initrd) (yes)

2. As result "make zImage" completed with error:

> make zImage
.....
.....
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/arm/linux/arch/arm/fastfpe'
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/arm/linux/arch/arm/fastfpe'
/usr/local/arm/2.95.3/bin/arm-linux-ld -p -X -T arch/arm/vmlinux.lds arch/arm/kernel/head-armv.o arch/arm/kernel/init_task.o

--start-group \
arch/arm/kernel/kernel.o arch/arm/mm/mm.o arch/arm/mach-pxa/pxa.o kernel/kernel.o mm/mm.o fs/fs.o ipc/ipc.o \

net/network.o \
arch/arm/nwfpe/math-emu.o arch/arm/lib/lib.a /usr/src/arm/linux/lib/lib.a \
--end-group \
-o vmlinux
*drivers/block/block.o: In function `blk_queue_headactive':
/usr/src/arm/linux/drivers/block/ll_rw_blk.c:229: undefined reference to `nor_flash_init'
make: *** [vmlinux] Error 1*

So, *nor_flash_init*() functiond is not available.

Please, send me your solution. I want that ARMCore application will be startred the NAND disabled,
such the file system (i.g EXT3 - disk.dat) on ramdisk or Nor?

Thanks in advance,

Alex Pasihov,
SeapTec
