Subject: Re: Compiling NOR and NAND flash drivers for 2.6.7 kernel Author: Louis Cordier [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 04:01:19 01/26/05 Wed In reply to: AA 's message, "Compiling NOR and NAND flash drivers for 2.6.7 kernel" on 15:34:01 01/11/05 Tue Hi, you don't need to compile them spesifically anymore, when you patch the 2.6.7 kernel with the file diff-2.4.26-vrs1-pxa1-armcore.gz it creates a directory $SRC/linux-2.6.7/drivers/block/cl_flash/ into which you have to manually copy the files CL_FlashDrv.o and CL_V2_FlashDrv.o Now the flash drives will be build as part of the linux build process. See section [Compiling the kernel, page 3, points 5 & 6] in the file "Linux kernel.doc" in http://www.compulab.co.il/download/armgx-linux-drv.zip Regards, Louis.
