However, it seems that an interrupt of 10 is assigned but the system still cant start the device.

Anyone try a PCI to PCMCIA adaptor (for a wireless PCMCIA)on either of these platforms.

adaptor has been exchaged and BIOS contol has been set
on the platforms above in systems PCI BUS.
