Subject: How are the deep-sea divers faring today??

Patty--think you did the smart thing until this mess gets sorted out. I think this little spell here will kill the 'buy-the-dips' mentality & put it to rest, at least until the market springs forth to life again, which might be months away still.
As for me? I'm going to see what tomorrow brings in terms of the CPI (or is it the PPI? Can't tell anymore: my head's been in a haze these past few weeks).
It's too bad we all live so far apart: we could probbaly have some nice chats around the never-ending bar of hard knocks and empty wallets.
Speaking personally, I don't think Greenspam and friends have to worry about the "wealth effect" spilling over into the economy. I know for me it's dead and buried. Any consumptions plans I have put on hold are now buried.
At least part time work should be plentiful, as the American powerhouse lumbers on, immune from all (yeah, right)...
Sorry for the sarcasm if it offends, but it pretty well describes the funk I'm feeling at the moment.
