You would not be allowed to assist in a challenge. However if the lead of the territory was injured (before the challenge was issued) or away then if there was an agreement the challenge could continue with a subsitute challenge (however if there is no agreement the challenge would be post poned until the one challenged returens)

For sneaks it would be alright for a stallion to warn another, but they would not be able to stop it (unless the lead was away)

Also like if there is a round up herds could work together. The same is true if there is a fight (fight but not a challenge fore anything) then there can be assistance. You could also help with surprises and such,

Also please remember, that in some herds the lead mare may be the territory owner so you'd have to consider that.
