When a site keeps billing you after you cancel that is fraud and it hurts all of our reputations. First thing to do is contact the billing company and not the site for a resolution to the problem. Always keep good records of your subscription ID and the date you cancel. All the major billing companies send a cancel notice. Save it! The major companies like Ibill or CCbill will refund the over charge as long as you have the documntation. If you signed up with a site with a no name billing company and they keep charhing you month after month call your credit card company. That will resolve the issue.

The key to any site being a sucess is to provide good original content. Some of us do our best to provide that but others just run the same old stuff found in the newsgroups. I am as opposed to that as you are. Also please keep in mind that none of the smaller sites are getting rich off the members. If you provide the new content 90% of what the site makes has to go back into the site. When you support those sites you are helping to create something good. When passes are posted and it costs those sites money that means there is less money to put into the creation of that material.
