" I shall hunt for food," Twinkle Star whinnies.
She bears her teeth and the humans and they each grab a lasso. Suddenly, a noose tightens around Twinkle Stars neck and she bucks and thrashes around crazily. She kicks one man in the knee and bites another. Soon, she is free.

Twinkle Star trots fearfully into the barn and searches out the feed room. Flys are gathering on her wound but she goes on. Suddenly, there is a shrill whinny behind her and she rears up in fright. She swivelles around and sees a mean-looking mare. Twinkle Star snorts back and paws the ground.
