The bow does not relax, nor do the pinched muscles around the butt of his arrow. The string creaks softly as he shifts to aim his good eye at her. The recognition in his eyes is undetectable, but it was there nonetheless. What woman was this? He'd have known if there was another. But that was also false. His senses were as sharp as a pillow, now that the centuries had past him by.

"You are an elf," he points out, almost relinquishly. "Durinhai, eh? Maybe not. I've not heard of it, or if I have, I cannot remember such a place."

Almost as quickly as he had decided her an enemy, he drops his careful stance and replaces the arrow into his sheath.

"My name is Genold of Lelwyn. If you will excuse me, I have an equine to rescue."

He moves, ready to take off.
