"So here I am, Gavan Selvianne. I was born 239 years ago in this very place, where I have ruled since my embracing. Yes, I am a vampire. I am the king of all the shadow dwellers in this region... There has always been a little goodie two shoes around, though. Always there, always threatening my existance... I am a warrior, my heart set upon killing those who ruined me so long ago... the lightbringers, the "goods".

My forces both fear me and worship me, they know that I have power over them, that I am not to be trifled with. I am married to Sehra, my queen. Sehra is here with me as well, though she does not care for affection. She married me for power, and I? well, I could have chosen someone else but I.... I care not to discuss the past with you, so do not ask it. You are not my friend. Regardless, Sehra is my queen who while I have spent a majority of my life with, I still know not of her intentions. A cold, calculating woman she is, that even I fear sleeping near her. However i do doubt that her power could override my own.

I don't battle often, though I am a warrior as i said before, mainly because as a leader my army's strength is more important than my own. I have them fight for me, gain their strength, and I... I wait till it is only I, and he... I and the one whom I hunt, the one who i wait for. I can only fight him to the death once all of his minions are gone, though. Or all of mine, though I doubt that be the case. Only then... Till then, small battles and wars plague this land, and forever shall until I taste vengeance.
