Subject: Raemolre Ranch

…Horse/Human RPG…

Reamolre Ranch was originally built to shelter emotionally scarred teens and animals of all walks of life. To try and help them learn to trust and love again. That was years ago... Since then, there has been many faults and troubles with the system. Many have ranaway, never to be found again. Some say that they were lost to the desert that surrounds the ranch. But, there is also talk of them never even arriving at the ranch.

The ranch now contains 6,000 acres of desert, grasslands, and hills. The difference of the animals from the past has changed. The only creatures that occupy the ranch are the horses. The system has been perfected, no flaws have been found. Teens are still sent here to help themselves emotionally by working with the horses. To help build back good character, manners, trust, and love. But the horses, now, are fully healed animals. The ranch selects only the best that they think will help the campers.

The ranch is located in the remote outbacks of Arizona. The only way to reach such a place is by horseback or helicopter. The ranch itself is surrounded by 50 miles of desert, heaven on earth for rattlesnakes, lizards, and other wild, desertlike creatures. The campers will be taught responsibility and trust. They will help the wranglers with chores at dawn and continue until dusk. As well as be able to get along with the other residents; horses, councilors, wranglers, and each other.

In it's third year, the ranch went from a drought to serious rain. It rained for months. The clouds dind't let up, which left the terrian in thick, deep mud. The pond was overfloaded to cover a larger area, taking away some of the horses' field and pasture. The cabins and other buildings are luckily built off-ground, in case of such an emergency. So, while the outside was drenched, there is no flooding on the inside. The barn and arena floors were soft; they are level with the ground. But they were built uphill, and never got worse. The weather, though, remained unpredictible until it becan to snow...
— Winter was harsh and cold. Temperatures droped to all-time lows in the area. The pond froze solid, providing the human residents a wonderful place to 'skate'. But, because of the possibility of the horses tramping upon the pond's icy surface and falling to their deaths', it was held behind protective rope to keep the equines out. Christmas was as wonderful as it would have been at their own homes. Everyone was allowed to make whomever they wished a gift and they were allowed a gift from home... Next came New Years. Which was celebrated with the crackle of fireworks in the open, still snow-draped field. All horses were kept securly in the stables or pastures, so there were no accidents.

Spring has sprung and the greenary is begining to poke through. Gentle frosts settles upon anything within reach in the early mornings, still. But colorful flowers dare to poke through the surface of the greenary. It's begining to warm-up a bit, and the horses are ready to frolick in the fresh, green grasses. Everyone is excited about the new happenings. Birds are returning, the pond is still chilly, yet not frozen. The trees are begining their bloom, and everyone is truely ready for spring. But new challenges still await upon the horizion...
