 He canters up to the first jump clears it smoothly and on round the figure eight course, making a slow but smooth round altering his stride slightly to account for the double and coffin jumps his smoothness takes him round to the Hedge for the second time on landing he turns for the water accelerates to the gallop to clear the water and then slows to a canter again on landing to make the turn to the final fence landing he slows to a trot his sides heaving, I’m not really fit enough for this he wheezes I’ll have to get into training he grins and joins the group for a drink
