Hey everybody! I am so tired and sore! I had a rodeo yesterday in Moultrie, Georgia. They said it was supposed to be in the 20' or 30's but it wasn't! Well until the sun went down! The weather was pretty good until it started sprinkling and then...it started POURING! It was miserable! But I had a pretty good day! In barrels, I ran a 16.9 but didn't place. In goat tyin, when I went to dismount, my foot kind of got caught up in te stirrup and then when it came out my horse Shorty's hoof struck my ackelese tendon (not sure how to spell it) and then he stepped on my ankle. Well I could barely run up to my goat and flank it but I did. I had a little trouble but I did it. I also pulled my string twice and tied a........12.18! I placed 2nd but would have won it! In breakaway everybody said that I caught my calf but I didn't pull my slack so I could have gotten a time but oh well. And what was funny was my buckle got caught on my saddle horn and it ripped my belt in half and my buckle flew inthe air! I had to get oof and get it after I roped! It was hilarious! And in poles I was 1st to go and ran a 22.8. I placed 3rd. What won it was like a 22.74 I think and 2nd was a 22.76 or somerthing like that! It was so close! I could have won that event too because my end poles weren't very good. I think I have typed long enough so I guess I will see you guys at the next 4-H meeting. I have another rodeo this weekend too. Wish me luck! Hope you guys had a great thanksgiving! I did!
