Dawn, there's no easy answer for you on this one... your hair is damaged beyond the ability to repair. The tell tale sign for this is when the keratin feels mushy or is gummy to the touch. The only aternative is for you to cut off the damage and start over. Yes, it's scary but then again having ultra-damaged hair isn't too pretty either. As they say, Spring is a great time to change your hair and who knows... you might just love the change that ashort hairstyle can bring!
