Your haircut was once the rage, but now is upside down! (To be in fashion that is...) Try getting the layers in the top of the hair longer and avoid an even graduated transition to the length. You need your length to keep your curls from pulling everything up. A good stylist can help you grow a longer crown and can cut tunnel layers into the hair (ala John Sahag's marvelous technique) and minimize width and volume while adding control with free form cutting in vertical sections of the interior. Another styling/ cutting technique that works positively amazing with naturally curly gals is the helix haircut. Check out www.myhelix.com for a qualified stylist in your area. I've mety the founder and have seen the cutting technique demonstarted first hand in workshops and highly endorse this unorthodox "twist cutting" method for naturally curly haired clients.

What ever you decide to do, please post here how it went, OK?

Best wishes,
